The goal of JCMI is to ensure Jewish cemeteries continue to be properly maintained and in compliance with Ontario regulations. JCMI’s Board meets regularly to deal with transfer requests, major repairs, financial matters and to liaise with the Bereavement Authority of Ontario. JCMI is a paying member in the Bathurst Lawn Memorial Park (BLMP) and Mount Sinai Memorial Park (MSMP) Associations, and the Lambton Hills Cemetery Association who are responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of their cemeteries. JCMI is directly responsible for the maintenance of two sections within Roselawn Avenue Cemetery and Chevra Kadisha-Chesad Shel Emes (Jones Avenue Cemetery).
