JCMI operates under the regulations as set out in the Government of Ontario - Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002 (FBCSA) under the supervision of The Bereavement Authority of Ontario (BAO). All transfers are made in consultation with The BAO and JCMI files annual reports as required. In addition, JCMI operates within the rules and regulations of Bathurst Lawn Memorial Park Association (BLMP), Mount Sinai Memorial Park Association (MSMP) and Chevra Kadisha-Chesad Shel Emes (Jones Avenue) as well as the Lambton Hills Cemetery Association and the JCMI By-Laws.
